2020 ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE INFORMATION

Megalo Print Studio + Gallery has been at the forefront of Australian printmaking for almost 40 years. Based in Canberra, Australia, Megalo Print Studio + Gallery is a professional open-access printmaking studio providing facilities in screen printing on paper and fabric, etching, lithography and relief printing.

This is a unique, supported residency opportunity open to Australian and international artists at all stages of their careers.  The selected artists receive a stipend, accommodation (international and national) and studio access to Megalo’s comprehensive, professional printmaking facilities. The residency program aims to support the making of new work that meets the program objectives of excellence and innovation in printmaking.

Megalo is able to offer some technical assistance to artists throughout their residency and all artists are required to undertake a Work Health Safety induction before using the equipment. However, as all of the Megalo staff work part-time and within specific print media, assistance will not be on tap! If you think you may require more than occasional assistance or advice please indicate in your application proposal what help you may require.

The selected artists will recieve:
