Print Safe - Print Well 2005

Megalo has received funding through Healthpact to undertake a project which aims to make the print studios more accessable to artists with disabilities. Bernie Slater has been employed in the role as Mentor to the group and Megalo staff have provided technical support. The project will assist the participants to determine the print medium most suited to their art practice. An exhibition of the work made as a result of the project will be held in the Megalo Gallery in May 2006.
Artists include Clint Deverson, Bryn Waterman, Linda Kavunenko, Kathy Downes, Lucille Carson.

Rural Young Womens Health Print Portfolio 2002

Funding from the NSW Health Department to the Southern Area Health Service employed three artists to work with groups of young women in the towns of Yass, Goulburn and Cooma. Artists included Kate Litchfield, Morgan James and Julie Krone.
Through a process of printmaking workshops, the artists assisted each group to explore health issues effecting young women living in isolated rural communities.
Each group worked with the artists to develop a design for three posters that were screen printed at Megalo.
The work resulting from the project was exhibited at the Megalo Gallery in September 2003.
