Access to Megalo Facilities
Access to the studios is restricted to Megalo members. Prior to accessing the studios for the first time, members must undertake a studio and OH&S induction session with a Studio Manager. Inductions are held on the first Saturday of each month and can also be arranged by appointment at other times.
Members' free access day
The first Saturday of each month is Free Access Day, when members can access studios all day at no cost. Booking for presses and other equipment are required as the studios are usually very busy on these days.
Extended Access
Extended after hours access is available to members who have demonstrated competency in the operation of equipment (at the discretion of Studio Mangers). Extended access fees are paid in addition to regular annual membership fees and extended access is only available to financial/current members.
Extended access allows members to work until 10pm on week nights and from 9am to 10pm on Sundays and Mondays. Extended Access memberships can be purchased for periods ranging from a long weekend to 12 months, depending on the nature of the member’s project and requirements.
