Today is International Women's Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It's also a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

Today Megalo reflects on our history and the incredible women who have used printmaking as a means to fight for the cause of equality. In particular Megalo would like to acknowledge the early pioneering women of print: Alison Alder; Gaynor Cardew; Deej Fabyc; eX de Medici; Annie Franklin; Sarah Laletin; Kathleen McCann; Franki Sparke; Annie Trevillian; Catrina Vignando; and so many more.
