ARTIST IN RESIDENCE - LEAH BULLEN

Our final artist in residence for 2017 was Leah Bullen. Leah has been working toward a Doctor of Philosophy, in practice-led research (Painting), at the School of Art and Design, Australian National University, Canberra, ACT.

While in residence she worked on some incredible monotypes. It was an absolute pleasure to have her in the studios and great to see such careful attention paid to such a unique printmaking technique. Many of her monotypes are large scale and take many hours and days to produce.

On Wednesday the 11th of April Leah's PHD work will be featured alongside fellow artists Naomi Zower (Textiles) and Phil Page (Painting) at the ANU. The exhibition is part of the Visual Arts HDR Graduate Season program. Don't miss this great opportunity to see Leah's delicious works in the flesh. Details below:

Visual Arts HDR Graduate Season Exhibition 2
Opens: 6pm Wednesday 11 April 2018
Venue: ANU School of Art and Design Gallery
