Residencies

As an arts development organisation Megalo offers a limited number of fully subsidised places within its Artists Access Support Scheme. The scheme includes the Megalo Printmaker in Residence program that provides up to five artists with unlimited workshop access and a stipend of $2,000 over a period of six weeks. The program is advertised nationally with one place being offered to an artist from interstate or overseas.

One off projects initiated by emerging artists are supported by providing them with access to Megalo's workshops while they develop new work for an identified outcome. To enter the program applicants are required to submit an access proposal accompanied with examples of their work and provide information confirming an exhibition or an event that will promote their project . Selection is determined by an assessment of the proposal, evidence of excellence and innovation in the program outlined and the quality of their previous work.
