Assistance
Megalo is able to offer some technical assistance to artists throughout their residency and all artists are required to undertake a Work Health Safety induction before using the equipment. However, as all of the Megalo staff work part-time and within specific print media, assistance will not be on tap! If you think you may require more than occasional assistance or advice please indicate in your application proposal what help you may require.

Contribution from participants
Participating artists will contribute a representative body of work produced during the residency to the Megalo archive. The archive collection is used for the purposes of exhibition and scholarly research.  Artists may also be asked to present and discuss their work at a public forum. Megalo will have the right to reproduce work made by residents for future promotion of Megalo programs but will in all such instances acknowledge the artist as being the maker of the work.

Accommodation at Cargill's Cottage
For interstate and international residents Megalo are able to offer accommodation in Cargill's cottage, an ACT heritage listed site close to our studios.

The dwelling was constructed in 1927 as housing for one of ten dairy farms in the area.  The property has a live-in caretaker and two bedrooms for artist stays. The cottage is close to many amenities such as shops, markets and nature walks.

Eligibility, process and selection of artists
- Program participants should not be engaged in undergraduate studies in the year of the residency.
- Applications will be assessed by a selection panel.
- The panel aims for a balance of printmedia in its selection process.
- The panels’ decision is final.
- Unfortunately, due to the high number of applications Megalo receives we are unable to give feedback on individual applications.
