NGA Vivienne Westwood Workshop 2005

Megalo played host to a screen printing on fabric workshop for the National Gallery of Australia (NGA) to coincide with the gallery's exhibition Vivienne Westwood: 34 years of fashion. The workshop was promoted by the NGA and included high school students in year 12 from around Australia. The students were instructed on how to prepare simple paper stencils and how to screen print onto T shirts. The printed garments were then creatively altered in the 'Westwood' manner by the students under the guidance of Emma Rees, Megalo's screen print workshop coordinater.
