A zine is a handmade mini-magazine, a creative way to share ideas, stories and artworks. In this workshop the group will work together to make a collaborative zine.

We’ll begin with fast, playful drawing exercises to get ideas flowing and hands moving. From there, we’ll explore collage and a variety of mark making techniques to build up our designs. As a group we will choose a theme and fill the pages with our drawings, combining everyone’s designs. Once we’ve curated our favourite artworks and designed the layout we will expose onto a screen and each participant will have the chance to screen print their own copy.

Print Your Own Jumper

Tuesday, 15th July

Step into the shoes of a designer and create your own custom jumper! In this workshop, artists will transform their ideas into bold, eye-catching designs. With guidance from Megalo printers, participants will develop their drawings and expose them onto a screen using the UV exposure unit. Participants will then print their designs onto their own jumper, learning skills that real designers use every day. By the end of the workshop, everyone will have their own custom jumper to wear proudly!
