megalo Residency Program Appeal!

Every year Megalo Print Studio’s Artist Residency Program offers dozens of established and emerging artists the opportunity to access our facilities and equipment, and work with Megalo printers. The residency is a chance for artists at all stages to develop their practices through a dedicated period of experimentation and engagement.

Megalo Print Studio is asking for your help to expand our Residency Program in 2024 and enhance our support for artists.

About the AiR Program

Our Residency Program is open to artists at all stages of their careers, and across all disciplines. Visiting artists receive fiancnical and in-kind stipends, accommodation, access to Megalo’s world-class printmaking facilities, and support from professional staff to make new work and learn new techniques.

In 2022, Megalo was proud to host 24 practitioners from across Australia - including artists from Tiwi Designs in the Northern Territory, and recent graduates from art schools in the ACT, New South Wales, and Victoria - and in 2023 we’re delighted to welcome another two dozen throughout the year.

As a non-profit organisation Megalo relies on the generosity of donations to be able to provide opportunities for artists and the local community of makers at all skill levels. By donating to the AiR studio program you will be directly supporting artists in the community and help Megalo to continue to create opportunities through access and financial support.

All donations large or small will help us towards our goal of raising $5000 to grow and expand the residency program and our commitment to supporting artists.

Megalo Print Studio is a Registered Charitable Organisation and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
