DR dEIDRE bROLLO

Deidre is an artist, writer and educator. She was awarded a PhD from University of Sydney in 2007, and has lectured in Printmedia at Sydney College of the Arts, National Art School, and most recently University of Newcastle. Her work has been exhibited in Australia and internationally, and has won a number of awards. Her interdisciplinary practice draws strongly on print culture and its inherent ideas: the logic of the archive, the transmission of narrative, and the notion of exchange. This focus provides a means to investigate ideas of memory and temporality, to question the conditions and terms on which we engage with the past, and to uncover the ways in which the past is restless in the present.

Karen Dahlstrom brings over 25 years’ experience as an HR professional to the Megalo Board. She has experience as an senior executive in both the Commonwealth and ACT Governments, with extensive experience working across the Australian Public Service, including the National Security Community.
