mixed media storytelling

with Janet Parker-Smith
10am - 4pm | Saturday 14 + Sunday 15 February 2026

Janet Parker-Smith

In this weekend workshop with Janet Parker-Smith, participants will explore storytelling through collage and mixed media. Working with existing prints, photographs, drawings and found materials, students will learn how to build layered narratives. The workshop introduces a range of approaches that combine image-making with textile processes such as machine and hand stitching. Janet will guide participants in bringing together different components to create a cohesive aesthetic that communicates a personal or imagined story.
