The Megalo 45th Birthday Party is almost here!

Join us 4-8pm, Friday 5 December as Megalo celebrates our 45th year with a big Birthday Party! Come along this Friday evening for some fun, with the opening of the Megalo Wayzgoose + Print Market.

Since our little studio was founded in 1980, we have grown to become the largest community access print studio Australia and a centre for contemporary print in the world. We are so proud of this milestone, and are celebrating with a big party and print market. With more than 600 prints and works on fabric on display by some of the region’s leading artists, including limited edition screenprints, woodcuts, lino prints, lithographs, etchings, photogravure + digital.

See behind the scenes of a working print studio and explore hundreds of affordable works of art for sale in the holiday season - there’s something for everyone!

We are excited to announce that the Megalo 45th Birthday Party is being supported by our friends at The Canberra Distillery, Mada Wines + Cypher Brewing Co. Come and enjoy some refreshments, food by Jarochos and support local artists. The profits made through this fundraiser will directly support our programs and community outreach in 2026.
