Megalo Print Studio Online Exhibition Program
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Entries must be submitted within the deadline outlined in the submission form. No late entries will be accepted.
2. A maximum of ONE work can be submitted by one artist per online exhibition.
3. The Megalo Online Exhibition program is open to all artists over the age of 18 at the time of submission.
4. Submitted work, and supporting artist statement, must clearly align with the exhibition theme as stated in the call for submissions.
5. Entries must be the original work of the entrant and have been created after January 2021.
6. All entries must be submitted online, and must be accompanied with ONE high-quality digital image of the work.
7. Artists must provide a statement supporting the work submitted: minimum 50 words - maximum 200 words.
8. Digital images must be provided in JPG format, minimum 300dpi, no more than 5MB. Images must be labelled Surname_First Name_Work Title_Year.
9. Incomplete submissions, or submitted past the deadline, will be deemed ineligible.
10. A selection panel will determine the works to be shown online in each exhibition. The selection panel’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. Artists selected will receive confirmation of inclusion in the exhibition a week prior to exhibition launch.
12. Selected work will be exhibited online through the Megalo website for the period of the exhibition.
13. Megalo will not undertake sales of artwork included in the exhibition. Any sales enquiries will be directed to the artist.
14. If the entrant has a professional agreement with a gallery or agent they must refer to their contract and consult with their representative prior to application. Megalo accepts no responsibility for the details in a contract between an artist and their representing gallery.
15. The entrant warrants that they own the intellectual property rights in their entry and that any intellectual property rights and moral rights of a third party have not been infringed. Intellectual property rights of entries remain with the entrant as the copyright owner. It is a condition of entry that the entrant grants to Megalo without conditions, a perpetual royalty-free license to use, publicly display, publicise, reproduce the entry or part of an entry, including in electronic form and broadcast, for publicity, promotional, educational and administrative purposes associated with the Megalo Online Exhibition Program.
