Wayzgoose Exhibition
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Entries must be submitted by COB Thursday 17th October. Incomplete submissions, or submitted past the deadline, will be deemed ineligible. No late entries will be accepted.
2.Entry in the Megalo Wayzgoose exhibition is free.
3. You must be a current Megalo Member or Friend of Megalo to enter.
4. The Megalo exhibition program is open to all artists over the age of 18 at the time of submission.
5. A maximum of THREE works can be submitted by one artist, as long as the total size of all works does not exceed 150cm in any direction (H x W x D).All works that do not exceed the size limits are eligible for exhibition, however as we are not a large gallery we may not be able to exhibit every work that is submitted.
6. Submitted work must be produced predominantly using a print-based media as a significant part of the finished work: e.g. intaglio, monotype, relief, lithography, screen print.
7. Entries must be the original work of the entrant.
8. If the work is available for sale this must be indicated in the application, with a retail price set by the artist during the application process. This price must include 40% commission to be retained by Megalo.
9. Works must be delivered to Megalo between Saturday 19th October - Saturday 26th October 2024.
13. Works must be delivered in good condition and clearly labelled with the artist’s name and artwork details (title, year, medium and dimensions). Megalo does not take responsibility for the works prior to and following the exhibition.
14. Works must not be framed or mounted. If works are delivered framed or mounted, Megalo staff will request artist approval to remove frames/mounts prior to hanging; and if approval is not granted, works will not be exhibited.
15. Works will be hung using Megalo standard magnets, unless alternative hanging means are supplied by the artist.
16. All works will be exhibited in the Megalo Gallery from Saturday 2nd November to Saturday 14th December 2024.
17. All works must be packed up and collected from Megalo Print Studio from Saturday 16th December - Friday 22nd December.
18. Megalo reserves the right to exclude from exhibition any work submitted that breaches these terms and conditions or cannot be exhibited for any reason. If in the unlikely event that an artwork cannot be exhibited for any reason we will contact you to discuss any options available.
19. If the entrant has a professional agreement with a gallery or agent they must refer to their contract and consult with their representative prior to application. Megalo accepts no responsibility for the details in a contract between an artist and their representing gallery.
20. The entrant warrants that they own the intellectual property rights in their entry and that any intellectual property rights and moral rights of a third party have not been infringed. Intellectual property rights of entries remain with the entrant as the copyright owner. It is a condition of entry that the entrant grants to Megalo without conditions, a perpetual royalty-free license to use, publicly display, publicise, reproduce the entry or part of an entry, including in electronic form and broadcast, for publicity, promotional, educational and administrative purposes associated with the Megalo Exhibition Program.
