SCREENPRINT POSTCARDS
Monday, 6th July
Learn the basics of screen printing and send a postcard to a loved one. Whether that’s your grandparents, a family member or even a friend from school.
You will be guided through the process of screen printing on paper using the Megalo facilities. From drawing your own design, to transferring it onto the screen and finally seeing your design come to life by screen printing it on paper.
We will show you how to address your postcard and give you a stamp so its ready to be posted!
LEGO PRINTING BOOKMARKS
Tuesday, 7th July
Build, print, and play! This workshop brings a fun twist to printmaking by using Lego blocks to create bold and colourful printed bookmarks. Participants will explore pattern making and design, turning everyday toys (LEGO) into imaginative artmaking tools. By experimenting with shapes and layers, kids will create playful prints that showcase their creativity in a truly unique way.
SCREENPRINT YOUR OWN CLOTHING
Wednesday, 8th July
Step into the shoes of a designer and create your own custom Jumper! In this workshop, artists will transform their ideas into bold, eye-catching designs. With guidance from Megalo printers, participants will develop their drawings and expose them onto a screen using the UV exposure unit. Participants will then print their designs onto their own jumper, learning skills that real designers use every day. By the end of the workshop, everyone will have their own custom jumper to wear proudly!
