CMYK is a screen printing process used to turn photographic imagery into a hand printed artwork. It involves creating four digital stencils, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key Black that are then layered over the top of one another to create a wide range of colours true to the image.

This process is a great way to extend on a basic knowledge of screen printing and several different ways to approach this technique will be explored in this class. In this weekend workshop artist Alex Lundy will introduce you to the digital technique of creating stencils using Photoshop. You will learn how to expose them to a screen and register each print to create your final image.
