Learn how to screen print your own poster in this weekend workshop!

From political posters to large-scale artworks, paste-ups and wheatpastes are an iconic practice within the world of street art.

Join Quinton Randall for a hands-on weekend workshop where you’ll learn how to design, create and paste up an oversized screen-printed sticker. Over two days, participants will develop a unique two-layer graphic from hand-drawn positives and learn the fundamentals of screen preparation and registration.

Quinton will guide you through each stage of the process, from creating and refining your design to exposing it onto a screen using a UV exposure unit, mixing colours and printing your final work in Megalo’s state of the art screen-printing studio.

Participants will have the opportunity to paste up their finished screen prints in a shared legal graffiti space.

Suitability: This workshop is ideal for confident beginners to advanced screen printers looking to try something new. Some screen printing and drawing experience is required.
Materials: Please bring ideas for you image, such as drawings, digital images, or other artworks for inspiration. You will receive more information about what type of images are suitable for screen printing prior to the class. All materials provided.
