Join us at Megalo Print Studio for an immersive two-day fabric printing workshop, led by local textile designer Estelle Briedis.

Estelle, known for her exploration of tessellating imagery and pattern structures, will guide you in designing your own patterns for repeat printing on lengths of fabric. Through hands-on experience, you will transform your sketches into dynamic patterns, which will then be exposed onto screens with our UV exposure unit. The workshop culminates with printing your designs using Megalo’s fabric table.

Suitability: This workshop is suitable for beginners or those wishing to expand their screen printing skills.
Materials: All materials provided, but you are welcome to bring along extra fabric items such as pillow cases, tea-towels or lengths of plain fabric. These must be light coloured, and natural fibres such as cotton or linen

What to bring: Inspiration for your design, whether this be patterns found in nature, flowers, or of your own invention - Estelle will help you turn it into a repeat pattern for screen printing.
